CERN-End of June set, not end of world says Michio Kaku

AFP: Atom-smashing lab says experiment to start end-June

No firm date other than “end of june” but we’re keeping our eyes open.

I have an audio clip from Dr. Michio Kaku on his April 8th KPFA radio show talking about the Large Hadron Collider.

According to Dr. Kaku, “mini-blackholes” was a terrible name for what could be conjured. He said it would be sub-atomic particles that wouldn’t have enough power to light a bulb. He says no fears of the world ending.

  1. Some scientist do have fears of the world ending…

“ …after 50 months the earth to a centimeter would have shrunk. It would be nothing more there, not only no more life, there but also the earth would be… a small black hole.
    -Prof. Dr. Otto E. Rossler

“ … the scientists are fully aware that it is not a project without a grave risk to the life of the Earth.”
    -Dr. Raj Baldev
