Poisoning of our Pets: Menu Foods CFO sold stock before pet food recall

CTV.ca | Menu Foods CFO sold stock before pet food recall

The chief financial officer of Menu Foods Income Fund says it was a “horrible coincidence” that he sold nearly half his units in the pet food company less than three weeks before a massive product recall.

Thousands of pets were affected. Dead, dying, a lifetime of problems for thousands of pets This is one of the most gut-wrenching stories I think we’ve ever reported. I don’t want to hear about deaths in Iraq, starving Darfur. I don’t care. The grief and suffering of the humans and their charges is so terrible. Don’t kill or harm the pets. A curse upon all of you that allowed this to happen.

This problem was known months before it was finally announced in the news. They are still covering up the number of pets affected.
