A fine interview with John Hodgman from the Boston Phoenix. Chupacabras, mole men, eel pickers…the man really covers the gamut of human knowledge. He’s not really a PC, but he’s a veritable database of cryptozoological information. You have to wonder, is the study of hobos a form of cryptozoology?

He was ridiculously fearless and his confidence transferred over to the viewer, who after a few watchings would stop saying “That stupid fucker is going to get killed!” You could believe he was invincible. A superhero riding the backs of gators and kissing deadly snakes.
Steve did an incredible job in his short time to bring environmental issues into focus. He developed a Wildlife Park and Australia Zoo in Queensland is thriving.
Nature was his pal and he was looking out for her, educating us on how to do it too.
A true Hero to the very end.
