Track Me Not

“TrackMeNot is a browser extension that protects web-searchers against surveillance and data-profiling. It does so not by means of concealment or encryption (i.e. covering one’s trail), but instead, paradoxically, by the opposite strategy: noise and obfuscation. With TrackMeNot, actual web searches, lost in a cloud of false leads, are essentially hidden in plain view. User-installed TrackMeNot works with the Firefox Browser and popular search engines, e.g. AOL, Yahoo!, Google, and MSN. “

More on Neal Adams’ Expanding Earth

Batman cover by Neal AdamsNeal Adams was on with Art Bell last night discussing his theories about Pangea, dinosaurs, and particle physics. He certainly knows how to spin a tale! As with so many things heard on Coast to Coast AM, determining the accuracy of his theories is left as an exercise for the listener. In case you need a crib sheet, Wired ran a pretty good article a few years ago that offers a more balanced view of Adams’ theories.

Another Adams CoverWhether you agree with Adams’ theories regarding the Earth, you have to give him credit as one of the finest comic book artists of his generation. Click the image to the left to get a full size look at another Adams classic.
