TORAW: saving american jobs
The Organization for the Rights of American Workers
This is the group mentioned in the previous article.
The Corps and the Politicians are set on the Global Economy Future, as much as they flag wave and hump Uncle Sam’s leg, they don’t give a damn about anything but their own bank account. If somebody in India or US is doing it isn’t the point, it’s who will do it for 1.50 an hour.
How can we change this? How can we keep the US from becoming a third world for it’s people?
I don’t know, but I think org’s like this are a start.

I work for a company that is actively outsourcing many jobs, not just app development, to SATYAM (an Indian firm). Watch the Hartford Courant for announcements of massive layoffs in mid-January.

I believe this problem can be confronted in two ways.
First, push for legislation requiring a listing of ALL corporations outsourcing to India, etc. Publicize and encourge Americans to boycott companies that are costing American jobs.
Second, send union organizers to India to organize Indian workers who would in turn demand wages comparable to American workers’ wages; benefits, healt care, etc. When it costs as much to outsource as it does to provide workers in America with jobs, it should slow down the flow to foreign companies.

Lou Dobbs has a list of companies that are outsourcing jobs at
http://www.loudobbs.com/exportingamerica.html
Not legislatively mandated, but a good place to start.
I don’t see exporting unions as a solution for India. If unions can’t organize the tech workers in the US who are being squeezed out of the workforce, how are they going to organize tech workers in India. The folks over there have never had it so good!
If you’re going to export anything to stop the flow of jobs overseas, the best bet is to export revolution. One commodity where the US runs a consistent trade surplus!

Is it true that sen. Kerry’s wife owns several companys like heinz? made in mexico! I heard 77 companys in all, hello

Outsourcing has become a way of life for the Fortune 500 organizations and many other companies.
Kerry knows [or thinks he knows] that France and Germany will join him when he is elected. The only thing accomplished by that will be the absorption of America for the good of France and Germany. Germany’s economy will be harmed greatly with the troops being removed.
Kerry’s own wife has a great many interests in Europe period. Mexico is a very small part of manufacturing. Maybe Kerry should ask her to bring these investments back to United States. Yeah, right.
Unfortunately, I think America has a rough road ahead. Politicians are interested only in lining their own pockets — not in the citizens of United States — or their survival.

When a country gives up on it’s citizenry, how long can that country survive?
The Global Economy has been good for the Corps and the rich elite, eh?
If the dollar falls they have yen, gold, the head of Baphomet, THEY don’t need the US citizens. Well, maybe for a war here and there.
For people who are out of work now, the only thing they can vote for is which Candidate will give them the best bread line.

Lou,
It’s getting worse every day. We are not only out-sourcing jobs, and out-sourcing our democracy, hopefully to people who want it. The nation in essence, is importing illegal immigrants, and importing election monitors from other small countries, unbelievable!
Thanks so much Lou, you’re an inspiration!
